How to clear Error code and reset your GOTV Nigeria account in 2021

Have you ever experienced not having your full channels or not having a particular channel on Gotv even when you are sure your payment/package covers that channel?


Do you experience sudden disappearance of a channel/Channels with an error message E16 or no Error message at all?


Often times this happens and people feel it's a general problem, but guess what?  Sometimes it could be but most times it's Just a problem that is peculiar to you and all you need to do is just to follow the below steps to get you favourite Channel back to your Tv screenoy

On your Gotv remote, 

  • Press menu
  • Select Advanced Options
  • Select Installation 
  • Select Reset


At  this point, your Gotv is going to go off and come back on again. This is more like you are installing for the first time so you need to

  • Set your preferred language
  • Select Country
  • Select the Antenna status to display "On"
  • Then click on "Ok" for Automatic scanning
Just allow your Gotv complete the automatic scan and all your favourite Channel/s which has been paid for will be right back on your screen.
