How to Upgrade your Personal Account to a Business Account on PayPal 2022

This is a guide on how to upgrade a personal account on PayPal to a Business account.

You have to be a sole trader for You to be able to upgrade your personal account to a business account. But if you run any other business type, you’ll need to open a new business account with a different email address and bank account.


You can create more than one account on PayPal, a Personal account and a Business account. but each account must have a separate email address and financial information.


Follow the below steps to upgrade your PayPal account:

  • Click Settings at the top right corner of the page.
  • Click Upgrade to a business account under "Account options".
  • Follow the instructions on screen to upgrade your account.

How my day was spent

I have been sober all day. I feel so drained mentally. I feel sick . A lot has been happening lately on the internet with a lot of marriages crashing, people loosing their hard earn money to Ponzi schemes, people dragging themselves over one thing or the other. But one thing actually got to me. The death of the gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who passed on yesterday.  At first, News went round the internet saying she died of throat cancer. Everyone had already bought this News when a contrary News came from a friend of hers stating Osinachi didn't die of Cancer, rather, she died as a result of domestic violence. She died from an abusive marriage. The source went ahead to accuse her husband, Mr Nwachukwu, for being responsible for her death.
