The Alaafin of Oyo dies at the age of 83

Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, has died at the age of 83.

As reported by Premium Times, he died at the Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, in the late hours of Friday, 22nd April, 2022. 

Alaafin Adeyemi ruled for 52 years as the third from the Alowodu Ruling House, before his death.

 News has it that he married  seven (7) wives while he was alive.

The remains of the traditional ruler were brought to Oyo on Saturday, 23rd April where traditional burial rites took off

Lets celebrate a May Queen 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼.  The family of Mr Nnamdi and Mrs Jessica Uba celebrate the 6 year nativity of their beloved daughter Kasiemobi, baby Kay for short, smiles.
